We need someone who knows the fundamentals, is eager to learn, and can slot in relatively quickly to relieve the Chef of Mise en Place duties.

To start with it will be a flexible hour Commis role with progression eventually, and only when ready, towards running the kitchen in the absence of the Chef.

48 hours/ week, and £27-£30k package depending on experience and fit. We’re open to a 4 day working week.

Must have qualities :

  • 1+ years of experience in a fresh food kitchen.
  • A desire for creativity.
  • Passion for ingredients.
  • Enjoys learning new techniques.
  • The ability to work to spec.
  • Will be trained in
  • Modernist techniques.
  • Bread making.
  • Fermentation.
  • Running of a kitchen.
